I am a sensitive and live with my extended family from the spirit world. Actually we get along very well! At the age of 8 yrs I began my life with the departed. My daughter started getting visits around 3 years of age. We (my daughter and I) are visited almost daily. Even some of my pets that have passed on have returned occasionally.
One evening as I just layed down to watch some tv, I heard a couple of female voices whispering behind me. I picked up my head turned around and it stopped. I layed down again and the female whispers continued quietly but distinct, then they started laughing as if playing a joke on me! The whispering and the laughter was very very quiet, just loud enough to let me hear that they were with me. I knew at that moment exactly who they were! My husband had been very sick and when this happened, then I knew shortly I would be losing him. My husband died within a week of this ghostly visit and the voices I heard were his two deceased sisters getting ready to take him home.............
It was almost a week after my husband died, I was upstairs in my bedroom sleeping. Of course I slept with a lamp on next to my bed at this time and my bedroom door closed, since now I was alone. About 3 A M as I was sleeping, lying on my right side, something woke me up. I felt something on my left cheek pressing slowly. As I began to awake, I thought it felt as if someone kissed me on my cheek. When I opened my eyes I saw my husband walking out of my room right through my bedroom door. He kissed me goodbye.
There is another life after this one this I know for a fact!

What a gift...
ReplyDeleteI just read a post where someone wrote about how afraid she is of the dead. I remember how after my witchy mentor and best friend died, I prayed every night that she would come and visit... I didn't get the chance to say goodbye. She didn't visit for a long time... and then one night she did. And I was happy. She, not even after death--especially not after death--will scare the person who loved her most.
So glad you guys live in harmony with your dead.
Happy All Hallow's Grim!
How wonderful to receive that final visit from your husband! And how lovely that his sisters came to escort him at the end. I have only been visited by my dead in dreams, but they are dreams I cherish to this day.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this beautiful, comforting story!

ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful and comforting story! Thanks so much for sharing it! When I moved into our new house 10 years ago, my cat that passed on, visited me regularly. But, I new I was keeping him here. I finally told him to go and that I loved him. I haven't seen him since. So happy I came by your blog!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful goodbye your husband gave you. It's a blessing when you realize there is life on the other-side. Thank you for sharing your story.

Hi Mary,
ReplyDeleteI've just come over to visit after you left your comment on my blog. What a wonderful and touching story! I also love the fact that you mentioned that your pets who have passed on have visited with you occasionally. This is so important to me. In my blog post I mentioned my cat, Sabrina, and the thought that she, and my childhood pets, are waiting for me, makes me very happy.
Oh my gosh--this is completely amazing and that is why I wrote my book--so that people would know that this is absolutely true--and that these things happen--probably to all of us...Your husband truly loves you.
ReplyDeleteXO
